Antonio Rodríguez Rodríguez, president of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources, pointed out that all the resources committed to the recovery of the Guantanamo municipalities severely affected by Hurricane Oscar are in place and the specialized brigades are working. Of the 64 aqueducts in the region, 20 are working.

The Minister of the Food Industry, Alberto López Díaz, reported on the securing, shipping and distribution of products such as chicken, meat for children, canned meat, powdered milk, condensed milk, soy yogurt, diet fish, soy oil. regulated family basket, compotes, additional canned meat, canned fruits, chicken for social consumption; pasta; sausages, meat products for popular gastronomy, among other assortments, including the production of soda and sweet cookies.

In checking the recovery from the effects of Hurricane Oscar and the intense rains, the first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party in Holguín, Joel Queipo Ruiz, reported on the behavior of rainfall in Moa during the last few days and the outlook.
